The sick and frail women received their healing during our crusades

“Miracles and Salvations broke out in a village during one of NLF’s evangelical crusades in Prey Veng Province, Southeastern Cambodia”

Last week, our evangelical mission teams conducted two night crusade in Prey Veng Province located in Southeastern Cambodia. Even though the weather was very cloudy with a chance of rain, the team had faith and prayed against the upcoming possibility of rain. Miraculously, it rained in other areas but not the place where the crusade took place. We really thank God for his protection. There were about 700 villagers who showed up at the crusade. One hundred of them gave their lives to Jesus! We witnessed many miracles and salvations and God revealed His power in this village in which superstitious rituals were common.

A young, sick, and frail woman with manifold sicknesses came to the crusade and received some prayers. She accepted the Lord that night and got healed.

After she was healed, she told us that she had been sick for half a year, had had cyst surgeries on her neck and her breasts. After the operations, she started to have a hard time eating, began experiencing cramps, difficulty moving around, was unable to squat, and could hardly swallow water.

She did not know Jesus before. Once she stood in the altar call praying area, she felt something different. She began to sweat with said she feel better like something was leaving her. One of our prayer team members reported seeing her facial expressions with sadness, hopelessness, and lifelessness. Because of her superstitious rituals, one can assume that demonic strongholds had been tormenting her life.

The next day, our team came to visit her house asking her about her experience in her new life. With a friendly welcoming heart, she smiled and told everything wholeheartedly. With joy and excitement, she gave glory to God for what God did in her life that evening. Now she can move, squat, eat, go to the bathroom, and drink fine.

After seeing this amazing thing that happened to his wife, her husband agreed to invite our team to come remove all the spiritual altars, and destroy many other ritual items in their house.

Mark 5:34 “He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

One Man’s miraculous recovery

Today, our evangelist team has a great story to share with all of us. They recently went out to a remote village in Kratie province. Despite the long distance, and the condition of the village road, they managed to access this area and meet a family whose teenage son was in his wheelchair following a serious accident a year ago.

Mr. Chetra, about 21, lives in Ajen village, Kratie , and had a motor accident last year. He was in hospital for almost three months. He then was discharged unrecovered because his family could no longer afford to keep him there. His dream fading away, he did nothing, and sat idly in his wheelchair. Then, he experienced a life changing miracle following the visit of an evangelical team who prayed for him. Hope now blossomed anew with Chetra acceptance of Jesus Christ. He began to move, then walked, and his optimism for his future grew rapidly. He is now a man fully optimistic about his future.

Mark 9:23 ‘If you can, said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”

Jesus is a great healer

Kvav village, AnkorChey district, someone received sudden divine healing from his severe arthritis pain on his knees. Jesus is a great Healer.

For some reason, all of the sudden, Po Nin, a 53 years old man from Kvav village, AnkorChey district , Kampot Province Southwest of the Capital Phnom Penh faced a severe pain on his knee. The pain was so sharp that he could not even move his legs at all. He was hospitalized and prescribed some medicines. He mentioned that he couldn’t really bear the pain causing him to cry.

On the way home, when he was about to take in the prescribed some medicines, he contacted one of our pastors and asked for healing prayers.

He began to explain his weird pain on his knee to one of our pastors on the phone. During the phone conversation, he was asked to lay hands on his own knees and to stand on the painful legs. He did as what he was instructed. Suddenly, the Lord healed him. He cheerfully stood in awe praising the Lord. He told the pastor that his knee was no longer in pain. He now could move his joints and it did not cause any pain at all.

Mathew 16: 17-18 “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they[a] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

God’s miraculous provisions

“We did not have enough food to feed the seven of us. However, God sent a bird big enough to be our meal that day while we were on our way to a far remote village” said Chao Sopheak who led the evangelist team.

Chao Sopheak, a phenomenal evangelist, together with his crew recently set off for a greatest message mission trip as usual. They were low on their food supply and the destination was still far away. Instead of being worried, he led everyone to pray for the provision and to trust God that He will take care, no matter what.

Here is what happened. In their pickup truck, they were having a conversation about food when they spotted a street vendor selling rambutan. With their low budget, they could not buy enough for everyone. Sopheak, however, stopped to ask the price. The vendor said a kilogram costs 1.5 USD per kilo. Sopheak offered an amount that no sellers would accept. He said, “Could you sell it 0.25 cent per kilo? (less than one fourth of what the seller asked). He offered this amount because he knew that the seller would not accept and that he did not have enough to buy enough to feed his crew. Sopheak was surprised with the response from the vendor. The seller said that he did not know why, but he felt that he needed to give a favor to this group. He agreed to sell it for the offered price which was unbelievable. Sopheak, immediately, asked for 10 kilograms and it only cost him 2.5 USD in total. (Believe me, you won’t ever be able to get this amount of rambutan with this price in a market place. 10 kilos of rambutan only for 2.5 USD (10000, riels)!!!!!)

The heat of the day made the crew tired and thirty. The team leader did not have all he had to feed everyone. He stopped at a village store. With the low budget, he could afford only two cans of energy drink to share with those who need. Again, the Lord surprised them. Once they opened the first can, there was a ring-pull prize for another can. They now got three cans to share to the third man. Guess what happened next? Every prized can had a ring-pull prize for another until the 7th can. The team leader now could give an energy drink to all seven men in the team. The seller got shocked and said, “Sir, I am done to redeem all your ring-pulls”. Our evangelist team said “Well, that’s ok because we only have 7 of us and every one of us already received their blessing drink”. What a miracle!

Our evangelists continued their journey. As it was getting dark, the team leader was slightly concerned if he would have anything to feed the crew and the villagers for dinner especially in a remote area like this place. Their vehicle was climbing up a hill, when all the sudden, a bird flew from nowhere and crashed into the truck, and ended its life there on the ground. The crew picked it and took it to the meet-up. Once they arrived at their meeting with mainly fishermen, everyone brought some seafood they had caught. Some brought crabs, prawns to prepare for dinner (organic seafood is super expensive in the country, let alone the natural ones). Everyone in this remote area enjoyed not just the great message of the Lord Jesus, but also the great and delicious meal provided by the Father from Heaven.

If you remember how God fed Elijah, here the Lord God provided for our evangelist team in almost the same way. 1 King 7: 6 says “The ravens would bring him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he would drink from the stream”.

Why do we both believe in Jesus?

Testimony: friends, you have asked me, and some of you might still wonder how my husband and I ended up becoming Christ followers. Now, I feel like I have a privilege to share with you some good news because I used to have the same questions, and I was like you, I did not know who Jesus was .

After 6 years of learning about one another, we both decided to get married at the end of 2012. We were in the same university. After 2 years of our married life, my husband was diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome , and high blood pressure. My husband’s health deteriorated so serious that he became a dialysis patient.

This was a heart-broken news and it was horrific for me and the whole family. Questions with no-answers kept asking me , in my life , I had never done any evil things, why such bad things happened to my couple life, and why my husband and I had to bear this heavy burden? Why fear, and why having to spend so much money on something that we had not expected at all.

His condition tormented off and on, and he had to be visit a hospital so often that he did not have time to be home. Sometimes, his blood pressure’s level rose up so high that none of the pills prescribed worked, and it went on over a month or something. I never forget one night on December 28th 2014, I was talking to one my close friends about my husband’s syndromes when he became very sick, and he almost passed away, the oxygen’s level dropped from 100 to 40, and his blood pressure went very high, leading to coughing with blood. Immediately, he was sent to an emergency room for several hours.

Standing outside of the room in panic, I felt spiritless, no soul because I had cried, running out of my tear drops, and I had no more drops to shed. My heart almost stopped working when seeing doctors coming out with their head down, making me feel that something hopeless, something sad about to take place, their head signaled to everyone that nothing they could do, and they left us with no words. I had no more tear drops, and my heart broke as I saw my relatives, my in laws started to feel disappointed and hopeless. Seeing this, I tried to hide my feeling because I did not want them to be more depressed.

I found a silent moment pondering myself over some good news I had heard about Jesus whom my own sister had shared to me when my husband first got sick. At that time, I did not pay attention, I closed my ears, and ignored. I just believed that when someone is sick, it is common sense that he or she only needs a doctor, and one they are treated by a doctor, they need a lot of money to cover the cost and that is the only solution.

Though I was seeking helps from my sister, I did not want to trade my religious mindset to her assistance. In other words, I did not feel comfortable to switch my old religion which I had upheld since birth. Kindly , my sister did not give any pressure, or asked me to give back back in return.

I remember what she said to me “Only Him, Jesus could my chain tormenting my life be removed , and that “I need to search for Jesus “. She reassured me that it was easy to , she said all I needed to do is to believe, and believe with all my heart. As soon as I thought about it, I heard a voice saying “daughter, I love you, your abandoned will be healed, and your fear will be gone”, as I was paying attention to the voice, my sister made a visit call from miles and miles away on the other side of the earth, her voice was so soft with some sobering sound, yet, she brought encouragement. She asked me to pray with her, and asked that I prayed to give my husband’s condition to Jesus’s hands. I listened to her prayers while dropping tear a lot. Back then, I did not know what prayers were. I was feeling that I no longer could see my husband, and even heard his goodbye words.

At first the doctors informed my family and all the relatives to be prepared to accept something heart-broken. A religious tape was given to play to comfort him , and we all were advised to remove the oxygen tube , and we were aware that once the tube was removed , his breath longer exist. We were told that it would be better to let him go because there is no hope, and more money would be spent in vain.

At the end of my prayers, I closed my eyes, and started to search for the name of Jesus even though I did not know who Jesus was, where He came from? How he looked like? All I did was to put my whole trust in Him, my faith in Him. Surely enough, only about two nights, He did answered my prayers. He restored my husband’s health, my husband was awake with progress miraculously.

We both accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior at the end of 2014. We believe that He paid for everyone’s sin. He took all our pain, all our disease, He took it all. I won’t turn back to my old faith of uncertainty, faith with fear, faith of unknown, and no-clarity. Therefore, we committed to follow Jesus, and we don’t regret. We have no shame to declare this good news to others. We really thanks God that allows me and my husband to be a living witness to others. I remember a song we always listened to and we both sill listen to it. It is called “In Christ alone” , which encourages me and my husband to continue to trust God in every circumstances.

Even though, my husband still has to go through dialysis three times per week, he still works as normal, and we still live our lives in peace, and joy because we put our whole trust in God. We trust in His provision even though our expense goes up in some months.

In Mathew 6:25-28

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your lifea]">[a]?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.”

I am not ashamed to share the good news with everyone I know. Brothers and sister, seek God, especially those with no hope, no more chances in life, be humble, and search Him, you will find him. You will receive your salvation, and you will be forgiven from your sin because God love everybody, you only need to give your heart to Jesus.

In John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
